Our journey starts visiting the amazing Queluz Palace that became the official royal residence during the period of the French invasions. The building is an evolution of different styles as baroque, rococo and neoclassicism. It is considered a “Portuguese Versailles” for its splendid halls with amazing décor, glazed-tiles wall panels and Brazilian wood parquet floor and for its fabulous gardens. After the visit we will continue to Cape Roca, the Western-most point of continental Europe, where you will have time to admire the cliffs over the Atlantic Ocean before arriving to Cascais.

You will have to time to explore this charming area, an old and suggestive fishermen’s village that nowadays is a resort area. Return to Lisbon exploring the Estoril coast, one of the most picturesque roads in Europe.
